About this opportunity.
NWU’s Centre for Teaching and Learning is recruiting a senior education developer to advise faculties on curriculum work, programme review, teaching enhancement and quality processes. The role also includes staff development, learning analytics and scholarship-of-teaching activities.
WHAT THE ROLE INVOLVES
Responsibilities.
- Support academic staff development and professional-learning initiatives.
- Guide faculties on curriculum, assessment, programme review and quality enhancement.
- Help interpret teaching and learning data for evidence-informed improvements.
- Contribute to institutional projects, research and teaching-enhancement work.

Key requirements.
- A Master’s degree in education, higher education, curriculum studies or a related field.
- Five years of higher-education teaching and learning support experience.
- Two years of academic staff-development or educational-development experience.
- Two years of teaching-and-learning data analysis experience and one year of scholarship-of-teaching experience.
