Saints Christian School has opened two new futsal courts on its Potchefstroom campus for soccer, netball and general learner recreation.
The smaller playing surfaces are intended to support close-control skills and faster decision-making while allowing the school to use its available space more efficiently.
Saints sport director Claudio Lucas said the courts would give learners another place to practise and play. The area can also be used as a social space during breaks and after school.
School leaders, coaches and learners attended the opening. The school described the project as an investment in both its sports programme and the everyday campus environment.
