The Potchefstroom Chamber of Commerce has appointed Juan Badenhorst as its new chair and Reno Pretorius as deputy chair.
Badenhorst said he wants to strengthen the chamber's role as a voice and networking platform for local businesses. His stated priorities include closer cooperation between companies, municipal structures and community organisations, alongside the creation of new opportunities for development.
Pretorius, the founder of Entratec and a chamber member for more than a decade, said his focus will include stronger professional networks, representation of members' interests and cooperation that supports sustainable local economic growth.
The chamber welcomed both appointments and said the new leadership would bring fresh ideas to its work with the Potchefstroom business community.
